The extent of Niemöller’s artistic inheritance has remained unchanged since his death in 2017. In the meantime, large parts of this inheritance have been chronologically ordered, photographed and digitally catalogued. The systematic assessment and documentation of this inheritance is a work in progress.
It is the aim of this site to take up the responsibility of maintaining this collection by making the details of both the artist’s personal life as well as his works available to a broad public. Exhibitions, loans and sales, for example, will contribute to ensuring that, in the long term, his inheritance is not forgotten.
